BROCKLEY MAX WHAT? A nine-day festival marathon filled with over 70 events, Brockley Max is back after popular demand. It takes place in a multitude of different venues across Brockley, Ladywell, Crofton Park and Honor Oak. This non-profit festival invites everyone to attend, and it’s sure to kick off summer 2017 on a high note. WHEN? 2nd – 10th June
CAMBERWELL ARTS FESTIVAL WHAT? The UK’s oldest visual arts festival to promote open studios, fringe, exhibitions and performances, Camberwell Arts Festival dates back to 1994 and now spans across the whole of SE5. Culturally speaking, this arts festival pools the community together to celebrate creativity without boundaries, and it’s an absolute staple for any South Londoner’s calendar. WHEN? 10TH – 18TH June

RITHERDON ROAD STREET PARTY WHAT? Ritherdon Road Street Party is home to a plethora of independent, quirky businesses. OVERGROUND FESTIVAL WHAT? The friendliest, most fabulous arts and culture festival in South London, Overground generously offers most of its events for free. With music from the likes of Kianja and Lemn Sissay, there’s not much this festival can’t provide. WHEN? 12th – 18th JUNE

ON BLACKHEATH WHAT? One of South London’s much loved music festivals, On Blackheath is a quintessentially British boutique production.
