Spinach, grape and coconut – The coconut addition to this smoothie gives the green drink a surprisingly sweet taste.

Peanut Butter Jelly Shake – You can get a breakfast shake that tastes just like this classic by mixing raspberries with low fat milk and your favourite nut butter.

Ginger Berry and Oat Smoothie – Give oatmeal a make over by whizzing up rolled oats, blueberries, ice and yoghurt in a blender. You can also add fresh ginger or an extra blast of flavour.

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie – It’s hard to resist pumpkin spiced lattes, but we’ve got a healthier alternative. Blend up 1/3 cup of canned pumpkin puree with ½ cup of whole milk, 1 tbps of honey, 1 cup of ice and a pinch of ground nutmeg.

Kale with Pineapple and Banana – Blend ½ cup of coconut milk, 1 ½ cups of chopped pineapple, 1 cups of stemmed and chopped kale (or spinach if you prefer) and add 1 ripe banana, chopped. You’ll love this combination.

Raspberry Chia Smoothie – Blend 1 cup of frozen raspberries, ¾ cup of apple juice, ½ cup of plain yoghurt, 1 banana, 1 tbsp of chia seeds and ½ tsp of pure vanilla extract for a gorgeous breakfast shake. The chia seeds soak up liquid quickly so make sure you drink it up immediately.

Coconut Milk Smoothie – For this you’ll need 1 10 ounce bag of frozen blueberries or your chosen fruit, 3 ripe bananas, 1 cup of plain yoghurt, 1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk and 2 tbsp honey. Mix it all up and enjoy!

Orange Juice Smoothie – This is a fresh take on the classic orange juice. You’ll need ½ a cup of 1% milk, 3 seedless clementines peeled, 1 small frozen banana, 2 ice cubes, ½ tsp of pure vanilla extract and 1 tsp of honey. Blend thoroughly and enjoy.

Creamy Date Smoothie – This is for those with a sweet tooth. Soften the pitted dates by soaking in milk for 15 minutes then blend thoroughly with ice for a super sweet on the go shake.

Banana and Ginger Smoothie – This one is great for settling your stomach and aiding digestion. You’ll need 1 sliced banana, ¾ cup of vanilla yoghurt, 1tbsp honey and 1/2tsp of grated ginger. Blend thoroughly and enjoy!
